The Cumberland & Westmoreland Herald has commissioned David Mapple of nxo Lancaster to help build upon its established circulation figures. The first stage of the project is already completed, involving the identification of non readers and setting up a series of focus groups to identify reasons for not reading or purchasing the paper. The second phase will involve looking at ways to develop the newspaper to capture this additional percentage of readers.
